1. 2-ethylhexanol Mainly used in the production of plasticizers, the main products are: dioctyl phthalate (DOP), dioctyl oxalate (DOA), trioctyl trimellitate (TOTM), and phthalic acid , Azelaic acid, sebacic acid and other dicarboxylic acid ester plasticizers and cold-resistant auxiliary plasticizers
2. 2-ethylhexanol can be used as a defoaming agent for white latex, but it has poor foam breaking and suppression ability
3. 2-ethylhexanol can prevent whitening of the paint film when it is used to prepare mixed solvents for nitro spray paint
